This number has rung me twice in the past couple of days, luckily I didn’t pick up either time. After the second missed call, I decided to search the number on Google and was met with tons of comments about it. It’s really worrying how these people seem to get their hands on phone numbers and bother folks like this. I’m 95 years old and it’s honestly quite alarming.

So I got a call the other day about some loan they said I had between 2095 and 2009. When I asked for more info, the person started shouting at me, which was really odd. Then today I got another call, and I picked up. They seemed kinda legit but I'm always suspicious of these kind of calls. They transferred me between a couple of different people and then left me on hold for ages before promising to call back. In the end, I blocked the number.

I received a call from this number, and the individual on the line seemed to know my name and insisted that I had some PPI funds due to me. When I pushed back and said I wasn't aware of any such loan, he became quite agitated. He repeated his assertion several times before abruptly disconnecting the call. It was quite rude, to say the least!

Got a call from this number last night, some woman claiming I had loans from 2004 and 2006 and that they were sending me money. I told her I was only 10 years old in 2004 and she just ended the call. Then, this morning, the same number called again and this time a bloke answered. He went on about me receiving £3000 from a loan "ages ago." When I reminded him I’d already spoken to someone yesterday and that I was just a kid back then, he laughed and said "oh wow" before hanging up on me. Quite odd, really.

I got a call from this number where the person actually knew my name and address, then said I was due £1500. I’ve blocked them now, but it’s really creepy they had my address info. Anyone know what kind of scam this could be? Really worried about it.

Got a call from an Asian woman who kept calling me by my old surname, saying something about repaying PPI and needed me to note some loan dates. She got kinda annoyed because I kept asking her stuff but she wouldn’t answer, then when I said I don’t have any loans she just ended the call out of nowhere.

I've had countless calls from this particular number, and after much hesitance, I finally picked up. Would you believe it? It was some chancer trying to discuss a PPI refund. I clearly stated that I wouldn't divulge any personal information since they hadn't even bothered with any data protection queries on me. Their response was utterly shocking; the chap became quite aggressive and used foul language multiple times during the call! Suffice it to say, I cut the conversation short and hung up. This number seems determined to keep ringing me, though. So, take heed folks, this is definitely a scam to watch out for!

I've received three calls from a dubious PPI refund scam. The caller was familiar with my name and insisted that I'm entitled to a PPI refund. When I firmly stated that I've never taken out PPI, they proceeded to pry into my personal details and, rather alarmingly, turned quite rude. It's really unnerving how brazen these scammers can be!

Got a call saying I can get back £3000 from a loan I supposedly had between 2004 and 2007, which is a load of rubbish. I wish it was true though! When I said I wasn’t bothered, the bloke started swearing at me, telling me to f##k off over and over before slamming the phone down. Proper joke, couldn’t even say my name right.

Got a call from this number, male with an Asian accent saying I was entitled to a PPI refund for a Lloyds Bank loan from way back in 2005. He even knew my last name. I told him I never had any loan with Lloyds, not back then or any time, and certainly never paid PPI. Instead of backing off, he called me stupid. He kept trying to suss out my age and when I might have had a loan. When I told him to stop ringing me, he rudely told me to f#ck off. Proper cheeky and rude!

Got a call like that too, this bloke said he worked for some finance firm. Once he started talking about me supposedly owing compensation, I just cut him off and blocked the number straight away.

This number phoned me pretending to be from the financial ombudsman, saying they could sort out a ppi claim for me. When i asked which firm they were representing, the person on the other end (who clearly wasn’t from the UK) just hung up. I then contacted the actual financial ombudsman, since i’ve been in touch with them before, and they said they hadn’t tried to get hold of me at all. Oddly, the caller did know my full name and postcode. Tried ringing this number back myself but it just doesn’t connect.

Just got a dodgy call from some bloke claiming to be from a PPI refund company. He had my name right off the bat, but when I asked where he'd got my details from, he got proper angry, shouting that he was legit before he suddenly cut me off!

Got a call from an Asian gentleman claiming to be with some financial company, saying they were gonna give me back £2000 on a loan for £4000 I supposedly took out back in 2004. Thing is, I never even took any loan that year, let alone for that amount. Pretty clear it was a scam.
