I got a call from a guy called Andy about a job opportunity. He said it was a family-run warehouse in Erdington, B24. When I asked for more info, a woman named Louise messaged me on WhatsApp. She started asking for personal stuff, like a photo ID and a recent bank statement. When I questioned why she needed all that, she got quite rude and ended up blocking me. Definitely a scam! This isn't some genuine family business, it’s just folks trying to steal your details. Don’t make the same mistake I did. The WhatsApp number Louise used was +44 7553 289792.

Got a ring from this number recently, a bloke saying he was with some firm called Global UK. Strangely enough, I got a call from the same guy about two years back. Both times it was the same story - he said he had my CV and was offering me a job, but he never really explained what the job was about. Then he started asking for stuff like my national insurance number. When I pushed back and asked for more details about the job, he got quite rude and even threatened to get me sanctioned, which makes no sense since I’m not even claiming Universal Credit.

They ring you claiming to be a family-run business, but then the receptionist asks for ID along with proof of address. After that, they just block your number.

Got a job offer then they wanted my passport and proof of address. Once I sent it, they just vanished on me!

I got called by a burner number with some automated message that just cut off after about 10 secs. Funny thing is, I actually called it back and ended up putting the call through - hoping it racks up some fees on their end!
