Got a text claiming to be from Santander, but it had a dodgy link in it. Luckily, it got blocked before I could click on anything.

Got a message from this number claiming to be Santander Help Desk, asking me to approve a big money transfer to someone. They even included a login link for the help desk. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Looks like a dodgy scam trying to nab your bank info or something like that. Got a message saying something about Santander Online Desk, then claims that £146.62 was sent to some Miss Jessica Loveday on 21/07. It told me to go to this weird site, app-request-complete.com, if I didn’t authorise it. The message had terrible grammar and came from a mobile number that didn’t feel right. Definitely shady, so I’ve blocked the number straight away.

Got a text at 4:16 pm on the 21st of July 2022. It said WARNING! Seems like a scam pretending to be Santander. Be careful, it’s a phishing attempt!

Got a text at 2.22 this afternoon (Thursday 21/07/22) saying something like “Online Santander Desk - On 21/07, £146.623 was sent to Miss Jessica Loveday. If this wasn’t you, go to app-request complete.com.” Looks dodgy to me, so I’d just delete and ignore it. Definitely don’t click any links.

Got a call saying Santander claimed I approved a payment to someone named Laura Lent. They sent me a link to click if I hadn’t given permission. Thing is, I don’t even have an account with Santander, so I didn’t bother with the link. Pretty sure it’s a scam, so best avoid it.

Got a text at 2:22 this afternoon (Thursday 21/07/22) claiming it was from Online Santander Desk. It said something like "On 21/07 a payment of £146.623 was made to Miss Jessica Loveday. If you didn’t do this, go to app-request complete.com." Honestly, I'd just ignore it and delete the message rather than clicking anything. Seems dodgy to me.

Received a message from this number claiming to be "Santander Online Help" saying I’d approved a payment to some site called app-complete request.com. Problem is, I’ve NEVER had a Santander account nor done any online banking with them or anyone else! Pretty clear scam right? Tried get in touch with Santander to report it but what a nightmare! They want all your bank details just to even check, and their website sends you to a phone number that’s dead. Total rubbish. Seriously, just ignore this - don’t respond or anything!

Got a message from this number saying something about “Online Santander Desk - £146.62 was submitted to Miss Jane Cue. If this wasn’t you, go to: access-app-request.com” but I don’t have any Santander account, never had one either. Thought I’d share the full text so people can watch out.
