On the 27th of October last year, I received a message from that number. It said something like, "Hey Dad, I’m using a mate’s phone since I’ve smashed mine and their battery’s nearly dead. Could you drop me a message on WhatsApp at 07553822912 when you get this?"

Got a call saying it was from HMRC about some tax refund I could claim by clicking a link. Problem is, I don’t even pay tax! Definitely a scam, so watch out everyone!
