Got a call from this number claiming to be HMRC. The bloke sounded like he had an Indian accent and was telling me I supposedly have two criminal tax evasion charges against me. I only do part-time work, and my boss sorts out my taxes. When I asked for something in writing, they said they couldn’t send anything and that I’d need to get a solicitor to deal with the charges in court. Otherwise, I should expect the police to come and arrest me. The guy was really rude and didn’t even let me get a word in edgeways.
