Got a call from this number with a voicemail saying HMRC had a letter sent back to them, and if I wanted to chat to someone, I should press one. Since I’ve been handling stuff with HMRC for a charity, I went ahead and pressed it. The bloke who answered started saying I owed taxes, which I knew was rubbish. When I explained the situation and told him there must be some mistake, he just cut me off right away.
