Got a call from someone speaking with what sounded like an American accent, saying they were from HMRC and that I’m under investigation for tax fraud, and the police were about to arrest me. Obviously, I know it’s a scam, but honestly, you’ll need a far better story to fool me. Seriously, do these scammers think people are that daft? Give it up and find a proper job!

Got a robo call from someone with an American voice pretending to be from HMRC, telling me I'm under investigation for tax fraud and that the cops are about to arrest me. Yeah, I’m aware it’s a scam, but seriously, you’d have to try way harder than that to fool me. Honestly, do these people really think folks are that gullible? Get a grip and find something better to do!
