Got a message saying HMRC has a refund for my 2020 taxes. The text told me to click on some ‘secure’ link iJhmrc###]ref3-20yr-self-form[###]7h=2 to sort it out. Seems dodgy to me!

I picked up and there was nothing on the other end. Could’ve been a wrong number but they didn’t end the call themselves, so I just hung up after a bit.

Got a text message claiming it was about a tax refund from HMRC, but it was clearly a scam. Didn’t click any links or call the number. Just went ahead and blocked the number straight away.
