Got a call claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. I just made up some believable info to mess with them, and when the caller caught on I wasn’t taking it serious, they suddenly got really rude and started swearing at me. Definitely not a legit Carphone Warehouse agent. Sounds like it came from one of those dodgy Indian call centres. Watch out for these scammers!

What a dodgy experience! They claimed to be hailing from Carphone Warehouse, but I played along, giving them some fictitious yet believable information. The moment they caught on to my ruse, their attitude shifted dramatically - they began hurling expletives and insults my way. It's evident they weren't affiliated with Carphone Warehouse at all. Just another scam operation from an Indian call centre - take caution everyone!
