Scam alert! I got a call claiming to be from the Fraud Prevention Team saying I was trying to make a payment of £780. They gave me some code, 2658, and told me to press 1 to talk to support. I pressed 1, just messing about, and the person said it was the anti-fraud department. They wanted me to confirm my name and date of birth. So I asked them for the account number linked to the payment first. They said it ended in 7943, but I told them I don’t have any such account. Then I asked which bank it was with and suddenly the call just cut off. Definitely dodgy!
