This number keeps calling me (I’ve put it on block so it doesn’t ring, but my phone still shows missed calls from it). Honestly, these lot are just scammers trying to pretend they’re here to help. If you fall for their nonsense, I’m sure you’ll end up with your bank balance wiped clean, then they vanish without a trace. Plus, they use mobile numbers that they can switch or block whenever they want, just like we can change our own numbers.

Dodgy debt management calls are coming from some call centre abroad, be warned! Don’t just block the number and forget about it - report it straight to ACTION FRAUD on 0300 123 2040 or visit their website for more info. Let’s all do our bit and help bring these scammers to justice.

Got a voicemail saying I supposedly owe £6,000 and can pay £80 a month, sounded dodgy so I just ended the call. Gonna block the number if they keep pestering me.

I didnt pick up but looked the number up and then blocked it. Few minutes later it rang again but with the last digit changed to 8, so blocked that as well. Ive got the Truecaller app which is brilliant, it flags most annoying calls before I even answer. Real calls show the location and the company type too. For instance, it told me when a legit firm like Halfords Autocentres called about my MOT progress. Really useful! Has made things way easier for me now. Dont waste my time on spam or robo calls anymore.
