Then they wanted to arrange a visit to carry out a health and safety check on the loft insulation at my old house. The company, something like TDM Ltd, rang from a blocked number and seemed very dodgy. The appointment was on its way but I chose to cancel it. Tried calling them back but the number didn’t accept any incoming calls. Later they rang me again to check the time, I told them it’s not suitable right now, maybe in a few weeks. The bloke wasn’t happy and just hung up on me. Even when I said I was a bit worried, they just kept pushing. Then I agreed to the appointment, but as soon as they found out my husband wouldn’t be home, they refused to book it because apparently both of us have to be there for the certificate to be given? That’s when I saw through their scheme - clearly just a sales pitch! They kept asking weird stuff about who’d be home tomorrow, which felt off. When I asked about their company, they said TDM LTD, but I couldn’t find any legit info about them online - the only one I found seems to be dissolved.
