Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Domestic and Repair Division or some similar sounding dept. They told me I’d been wrongly billed £149 and needed to verify my info to sort out a refund. They already had my surname and address but then pressed me for my date of birth. When I refused and asked for their company name and contact number to ring back, the bloke with an Indian accent started getting quite hostile. I just ended the call. Feels like a classic data fishing scam to me! 😡
