Just got a call from 07870641898, some woman said she was from Amazon. She spoke with an accent, sounded like she was in a busy call centre with all the background noise. She claimed my Amazon Prime subscription was renewed and that £79.99 had come out of my bank account. I told her I’ve never even signed up for Prime or ordered from Amazon, so there’s no way they’d have my bank info. She hung up as soon as I said that. Reminded me of those annoying robocalls we used to get. Definitely a scam, very annoying and probably risky for anyone not paying attention.
