Got a call from someone saying they were Talk Talk, told me to press 1 or they'd disconnect my internet. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

If you get a call from a scammer, just text 'scam caller' to 7726 and the phone companies will look into it and block the number. Same goes for suspicious texts - forward them to 7726 and they’ll handle it. It’s a good way to stop these dodgy contacts.

Got a call from someone saying they were 'online support', but when I asked where exactly, they couldn’t give me a clear answer. Then they started talking about viruses on my PC. It’s obvious it was one of those Indian call centre scams. Lately, I’ve been getting like 3 or 4 calls a day from different scam numbers, all sharing the same area code. Proper annoying.
