SCAM ALERT! Stay clear of this one! I looked up the number on WhatsApp and it showed a name, Joshua K McIntyre with RW Invest. Apparently, RWinvest, founded in 2004, focuses on assisting property investors to buy luxury buy-to-let flats in top UK locations promising good capital growth and rental income. Supposedly, they’re meant to help with enquiries. But honestly, this number has been ringing me nonstop, trying to pressure me to hand over personal and confidential info. Really annoying and feels completely dodgy.

I received a call from what seemed to be a dodgy call centre, where the line was completely pants. They were prattling on about being part of some housing survey crew or similar nonsense.

I got a call from a woman with an accent and her english wasn’t very clear, plus the connection was terrible. She claimed it wasn’t a sales call but some sort of home insulation survey. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust it because they’re really vague about what’s going on and what they plan to do with any info you share. Best thing to do is block the number and don’t trust it even if it shows up as a familiar caller. If it’s something really important, you’d get a letter through the post instead!
