Then they started throwing personal questions at me. When I told them they should already have all that info saved, they came up with a bunch of dodgy excuses. If they're gonna mess me about, I can just as easily waste their time. Ended up blocking the number.

I said I wasn’t interested, and then the guy got annoyed, saying he already had my info and wasn’t trying to sell me anything. I told him to remove me from their records and that I’d be reporting it. He kept shouting as I hung up. Honestly, just block the number. Don’t answer like I did if you want to avoid stress.

I’m usually one to ignore calls from unknown numbers, but since the ONS sent me a letter and even paid me beforehand for a phone survey, they told me I must pick up even if the number looks strange, or they might just show up at my house! So I picked up when this number rang, but the call got ended straight away. I’ve now blocked that number, just in case.

A guy called himself Stephen but his voice was all muffled and unclear. I asked where he was calling from but he cut me off and kept talking over me.
