Got a call earlier today from someone pretending to be Visa. They played a recorded message about suspicious charges on my card, something like £700 and £900, linked to international money transfers. They said if it wasn’t me, I should press 1. I just hung up straight away, blocked the number, and reported it to the TPS. It really annoys me that these scammers try to frighten people into giving away their details or trick them with crazy high call costs. Proper nasty stuff 🤬

Got a call from someone saying they’re from HMRC and that I’m owed a tax refund. They sent me a link to get the money but the weird thing is, I don’t even pay tax! Definitely a scam, watch out for this one!

Got two calls from this number earlier today. Picked up both times but the person just hung up straight away. Sounds like a dodgy scammer to me, watch out!
