The caller knew my name and claimed he wasn’t trying to scam me. He said he wanted to ask a few questions to check if I’m eligible for a grant to fix up my house. It sounded like it was coming from an Indian call centre. The line wasn’t great and I had trouble hearing him clearly. I just said I wasn’t interested and ended the call. This number kept ringing a few times after that, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it as a scam.

Called this number on the 2nd of June 2021, and when I rang back, someone picked up but it sounded like a switched voicemail.
