Got a call from a lady with a heavy accent, talking about advertising spots for Grimsby Hospital. I tried to ask her simple questions, but she couldn’t really answer them. Felt like I was speaking to someone in a call centre. I said no thanks and she just hung up on me! Definitely giving me scam vibes, something fishy going on.

SCAM ALERT, BEST NOT TO PICK UP. Got a call from a woman speaking really broken English with a strong Asian accent, said she had connections here to try and catch me out. Claimed it was about some kind of advertising. Did a bit of digging and it’s definitely a dodgy call. It’s a shame, but some people who come here just want to scam others instead of contributing. I keep getting calls like this, usually from women (occasionally men) with those thick accents and awful English. Honestly, if they’re just here to trick folk, they should be sent home quickly, or maybe they could try working legit and actually supporting the community instead!
