Sounds like it’s probably Amazon calling! It’s a good idea to scroll back through a page or two here before you post. Also, take a look at the pinned posts on this site because they sometimes share handy info. Another thing to check is how many times a number has been seen - scammers don’t usually stick around long enough to get thousands of views, they just hop from one number to the next with the same trick. If you’re buying from Amazon, keeping track of your order and delivery time is also really useful.

I received an email saying it was from Amazon, telling me this number was legit for deliveries and to save it in my contacts. But the email didn’t even use my name, which Amazon normally always does. I understand this number is used by Amazon delivery people, but it’s obvious it’s been faked. So yeah, I believe this was a scam. I’m planning to report the email as well.

Don’t pay attention to the few people claiming it’s a scam! They’re probably just angry customers or maybe even bots. I got a legit call from an Amazon delivery person once. They wanted to know where to leave my package since I wasn't in. I could actually see them at my doorstep through my Ring doorbell and what they said on the phone was exactly what I saw on the video.

Received a call, but after a couple of minutes, they just hung up. I tried calling back but it went straight to voicemail. If it's really Amazon, they should at least say something when they ring. It felt dodgy since the Amazon rep I spoke to had no record of the number and warned me not to share my address. Hopefully, my story can warn someone else - be careful and don't hand out your personal details to strangers.

Some bloke rang saying he was an Amazon driver but couldn’t read the address on the parcel, asking me to read it out to him. He mentioned he was lost and struggling to drive because of snowy roads. I asked which town he was in, and he had no clue. Here, the roads are perfectly clear with no snow at all. Totally a SCAM. All the good reviews on here seem well dodgy to me.

Its simply a call from Amazon whenever a parcel costing over certain amount is delivered. The driver enters a code that Amazon emailed you and that sets off the call. It’s not some dodgy scam, so no worries at all. Just hang up cause its all automated and nothing weird going on.
