Got a call from some dodgy lot claiming they were with the regional crime agency, trying to con me out of cash with some rogue traders warning. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a call saying they wanted to go over my life insurance details. They already knew my name, phone number, and even some info about my policy, so I figured it was a genuine broker I dealt with before trying to sell me something else. I agreed to a callback in about half an hour, but nobody ever rang me back. Now I’m a bit suspicious it could be dodgy, even though they seemed to have my actual details.
