07868790812 Someone called saying they were from Preston and South Ribble, which seemed a bit strange since that's a pretty big area to cover. He asked if my business wanted to be listed in a booklet for some work going on locally. At first, I assumed he was with South Ribble Council, but after looking up his phone number here, it turns out that’s not the case at all!

Got a call from a bloke claiming he worked for the Wiltshire Planning dept, but he had a proper Northern accent, which didn’t seem right at all. I reckon it was one of those dodgy calls trying to get me to fork out for a business listing in some booklet. Fairly sure I’ve come across this scam a few times before.

I got a call from someone saying they were with the Kingston upon Thames planning office. It just didn’t sound right to me since I’ve never had any contact with them and don’t even live in that area. Pretty sure it was a scam attempt.
