Feels like a bit of a dodgy ploy to dodge the UK’s GDPR rules on cold calls. Got a bloke ring me up claiming I’d talked to someone named ‘Grace’ about 8 months back, from a firm called ‘Above and Beyond’. I told him I didn’t know any Grace or Above and Beyond, then he just went straight into his sales spiel. Gotta say, it’s a bit clever if it’s spam, but weirdly, he had my actual name which threw me off. We’re on the TPS list, so maybe by acting like it was a returning call, they reckon they can brush it off as some admin mistake? Made me suspicious anyhow.
