When they asked which bank I use, I jokingly said "Paris Bank" which isn’t even real, and they couldn’t tell the difference. Then they handed me some kind of ref and ID numbers, saying they never ask for bank or card info, and that the money would be in a digital wallet or something. After that, they switched me over to another guy who sounded Asian. He asked for the ID and reference numbers again, but I gave him totally made-up ones.
