I had a chap ring me up claiming to be a financial adviser, eager to chat about investment opportunities. He was rather keen on promoting his services and positioning himself as my personal finance guru. I made it clear that he was merely spinning his wheels, as I’d never put my trust in someone I don't know, especially not over the phone when it comes to something as sensitive as my money.

Somebody called me claiming to be a financial advisor, but it felt off. I’m pretty sure it was just someone trying to scam me or sell something shady. Definitely didn’t sound legit!
