Got a message claiming to be from Halifax Bank but the link looked dodgy, no official branding or anything. It said a new payee was added late on 2nd December, like just before midnight, and warned to secure the account if it wasn’t me. The link was something like [#]online-register-payee[###]/ - definitely doesn’t seem legit, so watch out!

I got a text saying I’d added a new payee to my Halifax account, but I don’t even have an account with Halifax. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.
