As soon as I picked up, the line went dead. I could hear noises in the back, like a bunch of people in a call center.

My mate got a call from this number claiming they had orders from his landlord to replace his boiler. He didn’t jot down any info, so I rang them back to ask for more details, but all I got was a recorded voice saying “this number cannot take calls right now.” Sounds dodgy to me, especially since his place is council housing and they wouldn’t just swap out a boiler without letting him know first. So yeah, just a heads up to everyone - watch out for stuff like this!
