I received a phone call from an American accent bloke claiming he was ringing from HMRC. It sounded a bit dodgy if you ask me!

Got a missed call from this number, so I dialled it back and ended up with a recorded voice saying the number doesn’t exist! Definitely a scam, watch out!

I got a call from some bloke looking for me but he used my old surname, which I haven’t had for like 8 years. I told him he had the wrong person and wasn’t interested. Then he rang again from another number, this time just using my first name. When I said no thanks, he admitted it was him before and then started getting all rude and hung up on me. Definitely one of those dodgy scam calls!

Got a call, but they just hung up straight away. Tried ringing back and it came up as an unrecognised number. Definitely dodgy, so I’ve blocked it now.

Got a call from 07868206757, bloke spoke with a dodgy accent and somehow already knew my first name. He said it was about benefit overpayments in the UK, but I don’t get any benefits. Totally a scam, seemed fishy and risky. Have blocked the number now.

Random number calling... I’d say it’s best to just ignore calls from numbers you don’t recognise, especially during times like the pandemic.

They called, but as soon as I answered, they just ended the call. So, I blocked the number straight away.
