Got a recorded voice telling me it was HMRC, saying I owed money and legal action was on the way, then asked me to press #1 to chat with someone. I didn’t bother pressing it. Never checked with HMRC myself, but seems odd they’d ring from a mobile instead of a proper 0300 or similar number. Tried ringing the number myself afterwards, but it just said “number not recognised.” So, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.
