Earlier today, I found myself on the receiving end of a rather annoying phone call. The individual on the other end purporting to represent some investment firm based in London was quite persistent. He urged me to begin investing with them, claiming he could act as my very own investment advisor. The chap made lofty promises about making me wealthy in what he called "no time at all." He seemed rather certain that success was a mere formality. Quite the unsolicited sales pitch, if you ask me!

Got a call from 07868008048 today, didn’t know the number, thought maybe it was dodgy. Came across this site which mentions it might be a school-related scam. Kinda odd since I’ve been applying for jobs in schools lately!

My kid goes to Load Heath school, so I got curious when I got a message from that number. I checked with my kid's mum and she said she never got anything from that number and everything's fine. No idea why or how I ended up with that message.

Another annoying call from some investment firm in London. I had to tell them once more to take my number off their list, but they just go and hang up on me every time.

I could hear a right ruckus from a call centre in the background. They inquired if I was Mrs xxxxxxx, which happens to be my surname from yonks ago-about fourteen years past! I simply replied that it wasn't me, and they quickly apologised before cutting the line. Quite odd, really!
