My dad's 86 and keeps getting scary phone calls. One lot said they were going to cut off his internet even though he hasn’t got any at all. Then another caller told him he owed money on his Amazon account, but to him Amazon’s just a big jungle place in South America! It’s so confusing for him.

We got calls on two different landlines at our place, and when I picked up, a robotic voice came on saying our internet was about to be cut off in a day. The message told us to press a certain number depending on who we get our internet from. Pretty annoying to get that sort of automated warning out of the blue.

Got a call today from someone claiming my broadband would be disconnected. Totally a scam!
