This morning, I answered my home phone and got a recorded voice message. They claimed to be the SMS Messaging Service, but something felt off since the call came from a mobile number, not one of those usual 0800 BT numbers. Usually, BT sticks to those freephone numbers. If I'm not mistaken, I was told to press '1' to listen to the message, but I ended the call then and there. I suspected it would lead to a pricey premium rate line, which is why I’d say that number is quite dodgy.
