Got a call from someone saying they were visa mastercard and that there were two payments of £700 tried on my card, saying press 1 to cancel them. A couple of things seemed off though, 1) Visa or Mastercard wouldn’t just ring or text like that without some security checks, 2) I’m flat broke and in my overdraft, so there’s no way any payment of even £1 could be processed. Pretty sure it’s a total scam.
