I got a call where they said my subscription was set to renew unless I stopped it. She wanted me to get on my laptop while we were still talking so they could send me a form to cancel, which I had to sign. She was really pushy and didn’t want to hear no. Eventually, I just hung up.

A family member got a call from this number, even though I never did. It wasn’t a robot on the line but a lady with a foreign accent warning about an upcoming Amazon Prime renewal. Thing is, she doesn’t have Prime at all, but they claimed she might have signed up by mistake. They kept pushing her to use her computer and even mentioned sending some paperwork to decline the renewal. Like most scams, they never asked for her name, so clearly had no clue if they were actually speaking to someone with an Amazon account.
