He alleged that my internet had been compromised and attempted to extract personal information under the pretext of resolving this alleged hacking incident. He promised to install advanced security software once the issue was handled. When I firmly refused to divulge any details about my phone number or any other particulars, he ominously warned that my internet service would be terminated.
