Got a call from someone called Sarah Parker, she claimed I’d said yes to advertising in some magazine and said they have a recording of me agreeing. I told her I never did and then she threatened to send bailiffs round. I told her fine, go ahead, and just hung up the phone.

I got a call saying I'd supposedly placed an ad in their magazine and that my payment was late. I told the woman on the line that I wasn’t even in the country when she said I made the order and told her to stop trying to scam me. When I asked for a recording of our conversation because I was planning to pass it onto the police, she refused and even threatened to take me to court and send bailiffs before abruptly hanging up. Honestly, I’d say this call felt both threatening and annoying!

Got a call from 07864 683008 telling me we'd supposedly signed up to put an ad in the "National Construction Guide". They then emailed me a draft advert along with a bill for £425, which they said had to be paid within a week. The invoice claimed to be from "Arch Solutions" at 83 Ducie Street, Manchester, M1 2JQ.

Got a call saying we’d supposedly signed up for an ad in the Construction guide and that an invoice was on its way. I said no way, never agreed to that. The person got really pushy and quite rude. Feels like a right scam to me. Don’t hand over any details to these lot.

I had almost the exact same run in with this bloke calling himself Steven Adams, he was really pushy and wouldn’t give me the customer service line or pass my complaint on. In the end, he just shut the phone down on me. Said I’d supposedly signed up for an advert or something, which I never did.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Steven Adams from 07864682999. He said he was a graphic designer and wanted to discuss an advert I supposedly agreed to put in a magazine called the "National Construction guide". I told him I never agreed to anything. When I asked for the company’s contact details to verify, he wouldn’t give them and started sounding a bit annoyed. So I just ended the call. Funny thing is, I got a similar call a few weeks back but from another number, 07497483367.

This is total rip off. They only ring from mobile numbers, mainly ones linked to Tesco Mobile and Vodafone like 07554741176 and 07864682999. Tried calling them back loads of times but obviously no answer. They might try to scare you with talk of legal stuff but no need to panic. Just don't give out any details and hang up straight away.

Some bloke rang me twice from what he said was Community Road Safety Magazine, insisting I pay up for an ad we never signed up for. Proper pushy bloke, kept banging on and even threatened to send bailiffs round when I said I doubted it was legit. Sounds like a total scam to me - I've already reported it to the police!

Got a call from someone claiming they contacted me about a month back and put an advert in some "community awareness" leaflet or something. When I asked for proof, the lady got really mad, started threatening me with court and said she’d send bailiffs to my place before just hanging up. This is definitely a con. Avoid handing over any bank info. Bet they’ll ring from another number tomorrow to try and fool more people.
