WARNING: Got a text from someone claiming to be my son, saying this was his new phone number. A bit later, they messaged saying they needed to move some money but couldn’t do it themselves because the “new” number wasn’t linked to their online bank yet. They asked if I could send the money for them and promised to pay me back within a couple of days. Something felt off, so I rang my real son and he told me his number was the same as always. I immediately blocked that number.
