They said they were from HMRC and warned me about some legal trouble, which is obviously nonsense because i have no problems with HMRC and they don’t ring personal phones on mobiles like that. I have reported it, and seeing the other comment above about this being a scam just proves it’s fake. If this number calls you, report it too so hopefully they find out who’s doing this and can do something about it legally.

Looks like a scam to me, there was a long pause then a recorded voice saying it was some kind of national emergency. They even showed a photo of themselves. Told my brother who's a police officer about it just in case.
