The guy asked how my day was, I asked who he was calling on behalf of, and he said it was about my life insurance. When I started telling him to take me off their call list, he just hung up. So this person rang me up saying he was from Leeds and wanted info about my Aviva life insurance, like the premium and what sort of cover I'd got. The accent didn’t match at all though, which was a bit suspect. When I tried calling the number back, it didn’t even show up properly. I’m pretty sure they’re after my bank details or something dodgy like that. What really bugs me is how they got hold of my info in the first place - how did it end up in their system?
