Honestly, these dodgy scammers seem to have it made. When I called them out for targeting old and vulnerable folks, they got really smug. One bloke said something like, “While you lot are stuck with your plain meals, we’ll be chilling on Miami’s shore, knocking back cocktails and tucking into Lobster Thermidor before long.” They bragged about making a fortune while the rest of us struggle with the rising cost of living, acting like they’re living the dream. It’s infuriating. 🤬

This number keeps ringing me up. I decide to call back just to see who it is, and the person answers with “hello, how are you?” but when I ask who they are, they hang up straight away. Later, I get a text saying it’s supposed to be someone I used to know. Thing is, the voice sounded nothing like them at all.
