They keep ringing my phone but I just don’t pick up.

They said I signed up after seeing some ad on social media and wouldn’t take my number off their list at all. Quite frustrating!

The phone buzzed for a second and then just went dead on me.

I got a call from some bloke who wouldn't say who he was. Every time I asked for his name, all he kept repeating was "how are you doing today" but he got more and more annoyed each time. Eventually, I just ended the call and blocked the number.

Phone showed up as Possible Scam so didn’t pick up. Looked it up here and now I’ve blocked the number.

I’ve got this one number that keeps trying to get through, but luckily call-guard stops it after the first ring. Weirdly though, that initial ring still manages to come in every time.

Some bloke named Marino gave me a ring, chatting about financial markets like I was supposed to know what that was all about. When I asked where he got my number, he claimed it was from Instagram. I told him I don’t even use Instagram, so he shrugged and said maybe it was from "social media" somewhere else. It made me chuckle because I actually handle GDPR stuff for a big public sector company. Once I started asking if I’d ever agreed to get calls like this, he got a bit annoyed - quite funny really. I told him to take me off his list and not bother me again, then ended the call.

I've no clue who keeps ringing me, they’ve missed me about six times already, but interestingly they've managed to get past my spam blocker.

Got a call from some dodgy investment firm. Best thing to do? Just put the phone down and block the number straight away.

Got a call from some financial markets guy right at midnight, tried to pitch me something for Australia. I said no thanks and he got all snappy and rude, like I was wasting his time. Then he had the cheek to tell me to just go back to sleep. What a nerve!

Quite obvious this was one of those call centre scams trying to push some dodgy gold investment deal. Wouldn't trust it for a second.

I picked up but no one said anything, then the call just dropped. Looks like a sneaky trick to boost their call stats or something. Classic telemarketer stuff. Don't know the number, so I've gone ahead and blocked it.
