7 monthsI got a call from someone with a strong accent that clearly sounded like it was from a call centre. There was quite a pause after I said hello before they answered. They already knew my first name and asked if it was me, and when I said yes, they warned me that my Amazon account was being compromised. I ended the call straight away. At the same time, I received a text and a WhatsApp message from an Amazon number I know to be real, both with security codes.
