Got a call from someone claiming my Amazon Prime would get charged £40 unless I completed their form on the phone. I was nearly caught out since I’d just ended a free trial yesterday! Luckily, something felt off and I said I wasn’t convinced. Then she just ended the call. I rang Amazon afterwards and they confirmed it was a scam!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin about my router, asking to get into my computer. When I questioned them, they didn’t seem pleased, so I just told them I wasn’t interested in continuing.

Got a few calls yesterday from someone claiming to be Virgin Media's Technical Department. I told them I’m not with Virgin Media and asked them to take me off their list, then they just cut me off. Total scam.

Got a call from someone saying it was Amazon Prime, but it felt like a total scam just like others have said here. Definitely watch out for that one.

They kept ringing me all day today, said it was Virgin about my router. Had about 7 calls yesterday too but each time from a different number, same story tho. Rang Virgin myself and they said they hadn’t made any calls. When I told the bloke that, he just cut the call. Proper fed up now, if they phone again I’m just going to tell them to get lost. Total SCAM!

I got this really strange call from someone selling plates, bowls and cups. I’ve never come across that kind of call before, it was pretty odd.

Got a call about my Amazon Prime subscription renewing, but I don’t even have an account with them, so I just ended the call. Sounds like it was one of those scams trying to steal account info.
