Steer clear of them; it's an obvious PPI con. I've also signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, but let's be honest, scammers tend to ignore that kind of thing, don't they? Make sure you notify Action Fraud about it.

Received a call earlier today. It felt like they were aware of some loan details. After being put through to a few different individuals, the line eventually dropped without any resolution.

I've received two calls, spaced about a week apart, from something called the "PPI Repayment Centre." The person on the other end inquired whether I was aware of a loan I had taken out and subsequently paid off that supposedly included PPI, claiming I was entitled to a refund. This advisor seemed to be doing some research on my behalf, sharing all sorts of "details" before transferring me to another staff member. They insisted that I had to confirm I remembered the loan for them to process any paperwork or send a cheque for the refund. They had my name, address, and phone number, which I suspect are readily available on numerous databases, but they didn’t ask for any additional personal information. Curiously, they mentioned being ‘under 75’ required for something. Given that the call came from a mobile number and the accents were rather difficult to understand, I find the whole thing rather dodgy!

I received a call from this lot recently. The first one told me to keep quiet about a loan I had back in 2003 for £5000 from Lloyds, which I repaid in 2008. Then, the second caller told me I needed to sound more assured when they rang back, which was only two minutes later. When they finally called, they feigned ignorance about my previous conversation and even questioned my certainty regarding what I had heard! It’s all very dodgy - it made me start doubting things I was completely sure about!

I received an annoying PPI call from 02151215115, and it seems they then passed me on to another advisor who subsequently reached out from this number. Quite the pesky situation!
