So this bloke rings me up claiming he's from the same background as me, right? Told me since I've been a subscriber for ages, he'd sort me out with a discount if I renewed. He even knew my name and a bit about my relatives, which was weird. Not sure how on earth he got all that info. When I said no way to checking my emails, he got proper annoyed and just hung up on me.

Got a call from someone saying they were with "My Heritage". I have no clue where they got my number from, but weirdly, they already had my full name.

Some bloke called claiming he’s from My Heritage... I’m pretty sure he’s trying to hack my phone profile using the IP address he somehow grabbed from a tracking app he put on his own phone. Can someone pass this along to the national cyber security team, they need to keep an eye on this!
