Someone rang saying they were from DHL about a missed parcel. I've been at home all day, so I know I haven't missed anything. I tried to get more info, asking them when they supposedly tried to deliver it and who the sender was. After a bit, they just ended the call.

Got a call from 07862 108555 claiming to be from DHL. The woman said they’d emailed me about a parcel in my name and asked if I still wanted it delivered (the email address she mentioned was totally wrong). When I asked for the delivery address, she couldn’t give me any details, just saying the package was with their shipping team. Completely dodgy and a total SCAM. Definitely don’t hand over any info!

So, today someone rang me pretending to be from DHL, but the funny thing is, a couple of weeks back they tried the exact same trick saying they were from Royal Mail. Anyway, same story every time - apparently I’ve got a parcel sitting in the depot that I haven’t paid for yet. Total scam, obviously.

Some woman called, said she was doing a health survey about Covid-19, asking what info we'd got about it. I’m absolutely fed up hearing about Covid every single day since January, so I just said no thanks and ended the call. Then she rang straight back again, so I told her to stop bothering us and hung up once more!

Totally a scam! I got called by a lady with an Eastern European accent who kept mentioning some old email of mine. She was trying to get me to pay £2.99 for a parcel supposedly sitting at Royal Mail in Brighton, just like others have said here.

Just like a few others have said here, I decided to humour them for a while and asked to talk to the manager. Turns out, the “manager” sounded pretty much the same as the first caller. They kept going on about a package, but their details were off - wrong address and email I’ve never used. They claimed the parcel was 10kg and 11cm in size. Honestly, any scammer worth their salt should know that’s rubbish unless I’m expecting a tiny steel brick or something!

I reckon the woman on the phone had a Polish accent, though I’m no expert on that stuff. She claimed to be from Royal Mail, telling me about a parcel delivery. She mentioned my old email address, so I gave her my updated one instead. She said thanks and ended the call. It all felt a bit off, and when I looked up the number a few hours later, turns out loads of others got that same call.

I've been inundated with calls this past week, all urging me to check my email for a message from Royal Mail regarding a parcel that's supposedly gone adrift from AMAZON. They claim they've misplaced the tracking number and want me to cough up £3.99 for a card payment to finalise the delivery. When I mentioned that her call was coming from NIGERIA, she promptly ended the conversation. Just to clarify, I don’t even shop with AMAZON, and I certainly know they don't deliver items without a fee!

Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent who claimed she was calling from the Royal Mail office in Faringdon. She said there's a parcel for me but oddly, it didn't have an address on it. She asked me to verify my email, which she surprisingly got right. Then she said she’d email me to confirm my home address. She mentioned a £2.99 fee that would only kick in if I hadn’t already covered the postage. Bit tricky because I am genuinely waiting for something from abroad just now, so I felt like I couldn’t just brush her off.

Totally a scam, no doubt about it. After my last post, I got the email and instantly deleted it, seemed dodgy straight away. Then that same number rang me back. Both times the call dropped almost immediately and she called back again. I got told off for hanging up on her! Then, as she was cut off again while speaking, she phoned once more just to say... well, nothing really. Pretty obvious it's a con if you ask me.

A woman with an Asian accent rang me up, saying she was from Royal Mail and had a parcel waiting for me in London. I've had calls from the same number about 3 times now. Each time I told them to stop ringing me, but they just ignored what I said. The lady who spoke sounded like she was from the post office, and what creeped me out was how she knew my email and my phone number! Do these scammers not have anything better to do with their time? What worries me most is the older folks and those who are vulnerable - they're the ones who might end up handing over bank info to these people. It’s really sad.
