I've received a staggering eight messages all promoting the same deal for a £750 loan. Quite the barrage, isn't it?

Received a total of eight messages, one of which included an enticing offer of 750 credits shared amongst participants.

I received a text today from this number, advertising some payday loans from ADVMoney.co. They claimed to be operating under the name Mason Chase Limited. However, I looked it up online, and curiously, this trading name doesn’t feature on their Consumer Credit Licence. So, I followed the instructions in the message and texted “quit” to 505. Fingers crossed I won’t be bothered by any further messages!

I received an eerily similar message claiming I had been granted a £750 loan. I had a chat with my mobile provider earlier today, and they strongly recommended that I don’t engage with this. It isn’t a reverse-charge text, given that it's marked as FREEMSG, so it’s best to disregard it and keep an eye out for any further communications. My mobile number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and I’m extremely cautious about sharing my number online.

We've received a message promising us £500. What should we do next?

Is this number linked to O2 by any chance?

We received the exact same message promising us £750, and it’s clearly a load of nonsense. Honestly, how foolish do you think I am? You’ve got the wrong person if you think I’d fall for that, you muppets! Just a heads up to everyone else: watch out for these scammers. There are plenty of rogues about trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

We've received a rather frustrating pair of messages from this number earlier today, one of which rudely interrupted our slumber at 4 in the morning. Quite displeased, really. I'm left wondering if it's wise to pick up when they call again, or how that might affect any potential charges. If we do respond, would that even deter them from contacting us further? We've registered with the TPS, so one would hope that the phone providers will sort this nuisance out soon enough!

I recently received a text from this number regarding Payday Loans from ADVMoney.co. It's peculiar, as they claim to be associated with Mason Chase Limited, yet there’s no sign of their brand on the consumer credit licence we looked up online. To put an end to any future messages, I sent a text to 505 to unsubscribe, as suggested in their SMS. Fingers crossed that’s the last we’ll hear from them!
