Got a call off someone claiming to be from O2, saying because they’d joined up with Virgin they needed to update my broadband and landline info. Thing is, I don’t actually have O2 at home, only on my mobile. Hard to hear him properly and even though he was pretty nice, when I asked for my own name he couldn’t give it. He said he wasn’t able to get my details just then, so I’m not sure if it’s a dodgy call or a legit update. He warned if I didn’t do the update I might get cut off, but I’m on pay as you go anyway, so I’ll just see what happens.
