Today, around midday, my landline rang and the caller claimed to be from my ‘bank’s security team’, warning me about some dodgy transactions (classic scam setup). Sadly, they hung up before I could do anything about it. I decided to call the number back and a bloke from southern England answered. After chatting, it became clear he wasn’t the one who made the call - he was as shocked as I was by the whole thing. I made sure to tell him I’d be reporting this!
